Hi, my name is Venus and I'd like to tell you a little about my story. I am a mother to five and a wife to my husband of 10 years. I was a single mom at the age of 20. At that time, I did not have the luxury of choices, I had another person to provide for. After years in the financial industry I found myself unhappy in the corporate world. I was at a crossroads, do I continue to do what is safe and unsatisfying, or do I take a chance at a career I would enjoy?!

Photography gives me the opportunity to be creative while still satisfying my left brain (I love the editing and business aspects!). There is a deep sense of joy I receive when I deliver pictures that people love. It also allows me to serve the people in my community, which for me is essential. It challenges me and takes me out of my comfort zone. I try to incorporate philanthropy in just about everything that I do. I partner with many non-profits and work hard to find ways to help, using my time and talents to get involved.

I appreciate you taking the time to learn a little about me, but this page would not be complete without the mention of my relationship with Jesus Christ. There is no, me without Him. He has made all this possible. Every blessing I have is because of Him.
